Dr. Moor holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Virginia Tech and an M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from Yale University. Prior to joining Utah State University, he studied the environmental fate of pollutants as an ETH Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Environmental Chemistry group at ETH Zürich. Dr. Moor’s past research has spanned engineered and natural systems, from developing nanomaterial technologies for solar disinfection to investigating aquatic pollutant transformation processes with laser spectroscopy. He enjoys hiking, riding gravel in the mountains, and spending time with his wife exploring the Western U.S.
